Here's everything you need to know about these amazing handmade, plastic-free, zero-waste, eco-friendly beauty essentials!

From what seems like such a simple idea, they have now become one of our best selling products! But these are SO much more than just circles of fabric...

Cotton and Bamboo or Organic Cotton?
You may well have noticed that we have two kinds of make up remover rounds: Cotton and Bamboo and Organic Cotton. Well, what's the difference?
Firstly, both kinds are 100% Vegan, Cruelty-Free and ethically handmade in our studio in South Wales.
.
These pads are made from both organic cotton and bamboo.
The bamboo side is a soft, fluffy texture whilst the cotton muslin side is still super soft, but more loosely woven for a gentle exfoliation.
Bamboo is naturally antibacterial which helps keep both your skin and the pad clean and free from bacteria.

These rounds are made from 100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton which means the cotton has been grown, sourced and manufactured to ensure that the highest environmental and welfare standards have been met (find out more here>>)
What makes these Organic Cotton Rounds even more zero-waste is that they're actually made from the material offcuts from our Shower Mitts!
This cotton is sumptuously soft, thick and luxurious, with a lovely, natural off-white colour. On one side, there's a soft, fluffy texture and on the other a slightly more exfoliating waffle weave.

How do I use them?
A lot of people are apprehensive to make sustainable swaps for fear that they're more complicated or awkward, but swapping to our Reusable Make Up Rounds is one of the easiest things you can do because you can use them in EXACTLY the same way as disposable ones (without throwing them away, obviously). Not only does this save on waste, but it'll save you money too!
.
Simply use them as normal to apply toner or remove make up. They'll fit seamlessly into your existing beauty routine and work well with your regular beauty products.
.
Can I wash them?
Yes, you absolutely can! Between uses, a simple rinse in cold water will reduce staining, then just wash in your normal laundry load (cooler is better) to stop any nasties building up and making their way to your skin. Leave to dry naturally and voila! they're ready for their next use. We only sell them in multi-packs so if you have a few in the wash, you've always got a few ready to use.

What do I keep them in?
To help keep your Reusable Make Up Rounds safe and tidy, we've got a range of bespoke storage options to go with them. Our Small Eco-Twist Bowls make perfect storage dishes for the rounds.
.
For storage on the go, we've got organic cotton and mesh storage bags which fit your rounds perfectly. The mesh bag even doubles up as a handy laundry bag! Just pop them in the bag, then throw in the washing machine to stop them getting lost or swallowed by the machine (a bit like socks...anyone else find that?).
